I can tell you from my own child­hood expe­ri­ence, hav­ing to watch other peo­ple play video games was one of the worst things you could do (“Is it my turn yet?”). That expe­ri­ence seems to have been for­got­ten by some peo­ple because it appears that Activi­sion Bliz­zard, the mak­ers of Gui­tar Hero, are con­sid­er­ing jump­ing into real­ity TV. Now I don’t know what sort of for­mat it will take but none of what I’m imag­in­ing would be as inter­est­ing as play­ing the game for yourself.

Asked about the future of the “Hero” fran­chise, Activi­sion Bliz­zard CEO Bobby Kotick told The Hol­ly­wood Reporter, “It might make for a good TV show or a good con­cert tour.”
