New Frontiers in Pitch Correction
The New York Times back in the summer reported on a new piece of software that promises to bring pitch correction to polyphonic recordings. Direct Note Access has the ability to reach into a chord and manipulate the individual notes in isolation. Direct Note Access is created by Celemony (the boys that brought you Melodyne). You can watch an interview with the inventor Peter Neubäcker here.
